Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project Press Conference Video

Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project (CLYLP) student participants spend a day at the State Capitol meeting with lawmakers and participating in mock hearings to learn about the legislative and political process. As part of a week-long conference, the CLYLP is hosting 120 high school students in a training program with the primary purpose of preparing them to participate in Californias economic, social and political development.

This is a good improment but we need to stay away from forming one group of people in this case chicanos/latinos. We need to form a group of? all people who are discriminated againts including: all races, disabled...etc As we form seperate groups we drift away from the real message which is unification of ALL PEOPLE. For the record i am not a racist as some might judge me for from this comment, i am a fist generation Mexican-American
